NOTE: We used epsom salt, sea salt, almond oil or milk as carriers in the following recipes.  Use what you have on hand. If you don't have epsom salt, use milk or oil.  Easy.

Allergy Relief Bath Salt

Lavender oil contains natural antihistamines that can dampen the immune responses of the body. It can soothe not only respiratory allergies but skin allergies as well. Lemon essential oil defends against allergies in a variety of ways, both as a treatment to cut through phlegm and address the symptoms, but also detoxify the body and boost the immune system's function.  Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine reported about the effectiveness of sandalwood in treating allergic rhinitis. An oil containing sandalwood, geranium and almond oil was massaged daily for 5 minutes a day for 7 days. At the end of the study, the group showed “significant improvements” in their allergy symptoms. The patients also reported having more energy and enjoying a better quality of life.

  • Lavender essential oil – 10 drops
  • Lemon essential oil – 5 drops
  • Geranium essential oil- 5 drops
  • Sandalwood essential oil - 4 drops
  • Sweet almond oil  – 1 Tbsp
  • Epsom salt – 1 cup

Mix all the oils with the salt and add to the bath. 

Easy Alternatives: 15 drops of our Clear Synergy Blend for adults, or 15 drops of our Clear Kids Synergy Blend for children in place of the other oils in this recipe.


Not for high blood pressure, epilepsy, or children.

For Sinus Congestion

Mix all the oils together and add them to warm bath water. Soak in the bath for 30 to 40 minutes to melt away the sinus congestion as well as the headache.  Eucalyptus helps decongest the airways and the sinuses while peppermint oil provides pain relief. Take care not to splash water in your eyes. Eucalyptus oil is a very strong essential oil; it may cause eye irritation.

  • Peppermint oil – 10 drops
  • Eucalyptus oil – 5 drops
  • Sesame seed oil – 1 Tbsp

Easy Alternatives: 15 drops of our Deep Breath Synergy Blend for adults, or 15 drops of our Huff + Puff Synergy Blend for those with high blood pressure, epilepsy, and/or children in place of the other oils in this recipe.


Child Safe

Sleep Salts

Lavender oil is analgesic and antidepressant. It removes any aches and pains and general discomfort that stand in the way of complete relaxation and sleep. Roman chamomile eases tension and frustration, calming the mind. It is even effective in calming down hyperactive children. Sea salt helps remove fatigue.

  • Lavender essential oil – 10 drops
  • Roman chamomile essential oil – 4 drops
  • Sweet Marjoram - 4 drops
  • Epsom Salt - 1/2 Cup
  • Sea salt – 1/2 Cup
  • Lavender buds – 1/4 (optional)
  • Jojoba oil – 1 Tbsp

Mix Everything together and add to a hot bath. 

Easy Alternatives: 15 drops of our Goodnight Synergy Blend for adults, or 15 drops of our Happy Slumber Synergy Blend for children in place of the other oils in this recipe.

Anxiety Busting Milk Bath

Frankincense is well known for helping those with anxiety. It is known to reduce mental trauma and depression in patients with terminal diseases and bring down their anxiety. Bergamot has proven effect against anxiety; it is known to reduce the production of the stress hormone cortisol. Lavender acts as a relaxant and antidepressant.

  • Frankincense – 10 drops
  • Lavender – 5 drops
  • Bergamot – 5 drops
  • Whole Milk (full-fat milk) – 1 cup

Mix the essential oils in the milk, stirring well until emulsified. 

Easy Alternatives: 15 drops of our Anxiety X Synergy Blend for adults, or 15 drops of our Calm Down Synergy Blend for children in place of the other oils in this recipe.
