Today, Frankincense is widely used medicinally for a number of ailments, and is one of the most versatile essential oils in existence. Essential oils should be diluted with a carrier oil before using topically.  Dilute Frankincense Serrata essential oil to 3% (6 drops per 10 ml or 2 tsp) of carrier oil. 
  • Massage, compress, bath, linament, skincare
  • Apply a few drops of Frankincense directly to tired muscles and joins. 
  • Dilute and apply to neck and shoulders to help relieve painful tension.
  • Mix with liquid castile soap and use in your bath water. Feel the stress and tension just melt away..


  • Direct inhalation, diffuser, oil vaporizer, steam inhalation
  • For emotional support, add a few drops to a diffuser.
  • Adding 2 drops to 6-10 cups steaming water, and inhaling with a towel draped over the head for 5-15 minutes to benefit the respiratory system.

    I have sore joints and this was recommend to me by my chiropractor. It does the trick.
