At its core, our affiliate program is a partnership where The Herbal Toad pays a commission to select individuals for spreading the word about us. 

How Our Affiliate Program Works: The Basic Flow

Here's the step-by-step process:

1. Affiliate Approval Process: You can apply for the affiliate program by filling out a registration request form. Things to consider before you apply: At this time, we strive to keep The Herbal Toad Affiliate Program smaller in nature. This helps us choose authentic affiliates, ones who have a genuine interest in us. Keeping our affiliate program small also helps us to work on perfecting the program to appeal to our affiliates and make changes to that effect with limited confusion. Here are things that we consider:
• Blogs
• Vlogs
• Active social media accounts that ARE NOT set to private
• Number of followers
• Clean content
2. When You Are Ready To Apply: Please have a general understanding of what an affiliate is before applying. If you have decided that you are a good fit to partner with us, you can fill out The Herbal Toad Affiliate Registration Application.
3. When You Are Approved: Once approved, you will be given a unique tracking link. This link is the key to the entire process, as it contains a special code that identifies the affiliate as the source of any traffic or sales. You will also be provided with a QR code, and discount code to share with your audience.
4. Where to Start: Begin to promoting products to your audience. This can be done through various channels, such as:
• Blog posts and articles with product reviews or tutorials.
• YouTube videos demonstrating the product.
• Social media posts and stories.
• Email newsletters.
5. The Customer Clicks and Buys: An audience member sees the promotion, clicks on the unique affiliate link, and is directed to our website. Our program tracks their activity for 7 days.
6. The Sale is Attributed: If the customer makes a purchase within the the 7 day duration, the sale is automatically tracked and attributed to you.
7. The Affiliate Earns a Commission: Commission is payed out weekly for balances $10 or over. Accounts with less than $10 commission, it will carry over to the following month and payed out when the account reaches $10. The Herbal Toad handles all aspects of the transaction, including payment processing, order fulfillment, and customer service. You may choose to be payed through store credit or via PayPal. Affiliates being payed by store credit earn 5% by default and up to 10%, depending on the number of referrals within a months cycle. Commission is calculated on sales that are made using unique store links or coupon codes. Along with affiliate links, affiliates receive a 10% off coupon code that can be used once by the affiliate, and shared with their followers. Anytime one of the affiliates friends or followers shops with us using the referral link or code, we will know who made the referral. Purchases made through the referral within 7 days of using the referral link will be credited to your account.

It's a win-win situation: The Herbal Toad gets new customers, and you earn a commission without having to create a product, manage inventory, or handle customer support.
