Product Overview

Ceylon or "true cinnamon" has a subtle, warm, mildly sweet flavor that works in everything from savory dishes to delicate desserts. Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamonum verum) has a more delicate and sweet flavor than the more common cassia cinnamon, and is the preferred cinnamon for quality and flavor. By choosing Fair Trade products, you support farming families through fair prices, direct trade, community development and environmental stewardship.

Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) is a flavorful, high-quality spice that comes from the bark of the tree. There are no artificial additives or chemicals used in any part of the growing and manufacturing process. Lower coumarin content relative to other cinnamons lessens concerns about over-consuming.

1/2 Cup Organic, Culinary GradeCinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), packed in an amber glass jar.

We use only the highest quality botanicals that are fresh, and full of flavor. Each ingredient is certified organic or ethically wild harvested, and are never sprayed with pesticides or herbicides. We grind our herbs and spices in small batches that are then sealed in nonreactive tea tins or airtight resealable bags. Our process protects the flavorful, healthful constituents of each herb, retaining medicinal quality while providing optimal flavor.
