Product Overview
Clean Skin Essential Oil Blend has been professionally formulated to help with acne and other blemished, and also works well as a first-aid blend when diluted as described below. It is a part of our growing DIY Apothecary Collection. Clean Skin is a simple path to stocking your at home apothecary with premixed ingredients that require very little else to making a ready to use product. To use, add Clean Skin to aloe vera and apply directly to blemishes, or use it in your favorite carrier oil, lotion, or DIY cream. The dilution rate is 5% for most skin types, which is 15 drops per 2 tsp or 10 ml aloe, or 40 drops per 1 fluid oz aloe. This same lighter dilution can be used on scrapes, small cuts, minor burns, and abrasions. For more delicate skin, dilute to 3% (9 drops per 3 tsp or 10 ml; or 25 drops per 1 fluid ounce) of aloe. Store in a jar or squeeze top bottle. Refrigeration is not required, but is a good option for your finished product to create a soothing application for irritated skin.
