Jasmine is a powerful emmenagogue that should not be used while pregnant but has been proven indispensable during and after labor.Many doulas use jasmine essential oil to encourage labor and reduce the pain of labor. Postpartum, jasmine essential oil is a help to increase milk supply and aid in lifting spirits while hormones are out of balance. Jasmine is a precious oil. A little goes a long way.
Jasmine essential oil is antidepressant, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, cicatrisant, emmenagogue, expectorant, parturient, and sedative; making it suitable for use with cold, cough, enlarged prostate, flu, impotence, PMS, sadness, scars, and stretch marks.
