Wild Cherry Bark Syrup is one of our favorite syrups to have on hand throughout the year We use it during the dry winter months, as well as the warmer months when facing seasonal threats, or anytime the throat is in need of some tender loving care . Wild Cherry Bark Syrup Mix is an economical option to offer gentle comfort and support for the respiratory system, the throat, and the lungs. All you need in addition to the mix is your own raw honey. A bag of this makes approximately 1 quart syrup (32 ounces) = approximately 96 servings. NOTE: Wild Cherry Bark does not have the flavor of cherry.

Instructions
To make approximately 1 quart of syrup:
STEP 1: Add entire Wild Cherry Bark Syrup Mix into a medium saucepan. Top with 1 1/2 quarts of water. Bring to a boil, and quickly turn it down to a simmer until it is reduced by 1/2 (30-45 minutes).
STEP 2: Lightly mash the herbal mixture, strain the Wild Cherry Bark Mix from water using a mesh strainer, and let it cool to room temperature.
​STEP 3: Add 3/4 cup of raw honey. Option: Add 1/4 cup of raw apple cider vinegar or brandy as a preservative. Store in the refrigerator for 4-6 weeks. May be frozen if not using alcohol.
Recommended serving is 2 teaspoons.
