Product Overview

Just like the front spice that makes a kitchen smell so good during the holidays, clove essential oil has a warm aroma that makes it a pleasure to use. Thanks to clove''s strong antiseptic property and its disinfectant property, it was an important tool for disease prevention long before modern medicines were available. Clove is a must have in any home apothecary for making natural care products, and it makes a fantastic addition to an all-purpose cleaner. Perhaps the most widely used application of clove essential oil is applying it to a toothache while waiting to get it to see your dentist.

How to Use Clove Bud Essential Oil

  1. Add a few drops to a diffuser alone, or with other essential oils. Try 4 drops Orange, 2 drops clove bud, and 2 drops cinnamon.
  2. Mix a drop with a food grade carrier oil and use a cotton swab to apply to a sore tooth. Avoid applying to gums.
  3. Dilute clove oil in an unscented lotion or carrier oil and apply topically for itching or muscle soreness.
