Lemongrass is popular for its green, lemony scent with slightly sweet and herbaceous notes, which add to its clean, deodorizing scent. Essential oil made from this perennial grass is extremely versatile, benefiting troubled skin, soothing sore muscles, and quickly improving jet lag, lethargy, and fatigue. Since it shares a bug-repelling chemical with citronella, lemongrass essential oil is an indispensable addition to any DIY insect repellent recipe.

Lemongrass essential oil is analgesic, antidepressant, antimicrobial, antiseptic, bactericidal, fungicidal, and insecticidal; making it especially suitable for use with acne, athletes foot, fatigue, fever, indigestion, laryngitis, muscle pain, nervous tension, ringworm, and sore throat.

Ingredients: Pure, undiluted essential oils of Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), steam distilled from the leaves sourced from India and Nepal.

Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. Song of Solomon 14: 14-15

We add a few drops to our pool and it helps ward of insects. Those black flies are a killer without it. Also adds a nice scent.

I have been an EO user way before it became popular with MLM's and there is a huge difference between fragrance oil and real essential oil. This lemongrass is perfect.
