Why does Melissa Essential Oil cost more than other oils? Melissa requires a lot of plant material to render even one small 5 ml bottle. Melissa makes no exception. However, one major reason that Melissa is so expensive is that the essential oil is made from the flowers of the plant and the plant gives low yield and is seasonal making it a more scarce oil to come by as well as the consideration of high labor costs. So in the end, the cost it takes to make a small bottle gets passed onto the end user in figuring the price of the oil.
Instructions
Melissa Roll-On and Refill are pre-diluted and ready to use topically. The refill bottle can be used directly from the dropper bottle, or used to refill a roll-on bottle 6 times. Apply to pulse points, neck, or upper chest for a natural, calming aroma. Use as a relaxing massage oil. Add to a warm bath to help unwind. Apply to skin to support a healthy-looking complexion. For viral skin issues, apply a thin layer 2-3 times a day.

Great buy
I am thrilled to find this. I have wanted Melissa for awhile, but couldn't justify the money. This is a large bottle at a great price because it is diluted already, which I would do anyway. I am happy with my purchase and will definitely buy again.

I have wanted Melissa essential oil for a long time but couldn't justify the expense without trying it. I appreciate that you offer it in a roll-on, which is how I would have ended up using it anyway. It does alot to sooth me whenever I need it and it smells sooooo good.
