Tincture drops can be put directly in the mouth, added to water, tea, juice, smoothies, or put in hot water to drink as tea—the alcohol evaporates and the medicine stays in the water. Tinctures have a 6 year shelf life when kept free from contaminants and when stored out of extreme heat and direct sunlight.
