- Nettle: Urtica dioica, stimulates the scalp, improves circulation, and helps promote fuller, more radiant hair. Nettles have a long-standing reputation for preventing hair loss and making the hair soft and shiny. Nettle, an excellent hair conditioner, is rich in minerals and plant hormones, is tonic and astringent and gives a healthy gloss to hair. Nettle is said to be a remedy for oily hair, dandruff, and hair shaft breakage.
- Peppermint Leaves: Mentha piperita, is widely recognized for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and astringent properties. It stimulates nerve endings and increase local blood flow to the scalp and cools and refines the scalp
- Horsetail: Equisetum arvense, is nourishing and hydrating, stimulates blood vessels in the scalp and has been used for centuries as a hair growth herb. The silica in horsetail helps to keep hair strong and adds shine and luster to hair.
- Marshmallow Root: Althaea officinalis, soothes and provides relief from scalp irritation. A great alternative to store bought conditioners, it contains mucilage, which provides "slip" to help detangle thick naturally curly, wavy and Afro type hair. High in plant proteins, it nourishes, conditions and promotes hair growth and luster.

For Hair Rinse: Hair Rinse: Pour 2 cups of boiling water over 2 Bags or 2 Tbs loose tea. Steep 30+ minutes. Strain herbs from the tea and let it cool to room temperature before using. Slowly pour the tea over your wet hair and massage the infusion into your hair and scalp. Keep a large bowl under your head to catch the liquid and reapply several times 2-3 times. Gently rinse with cool water or, for extra conditioning benefits, just leave it in and towel dry hair

Tress Herbal Tea and Hair Rinse and Tincture
I have been wrestling with hair loss, dryness, brittle and breaking ends and general icky hair when I used to have gorgeous locks. Medications, age, cancer and other negative influences have my hair to the point that I was in despair. Then someone recommended this website and its products and the changes are happening quicker than I ever could have imagined. I use the Tress tincture one time in the morning in juice and the rinse after every wash. I also drink one cup of tea per night. My hair is thicker and more buoyant. Slowly but surely, less hair is falling out with each shower. The movement and flow of my hair is more natural and less frizzy and brittle. I had researched the herbs before my purchase, but buying all these things and assembling them into teas and tinctures is a headache compared to the reasonable prices here. I could not be happier. Finally gone poo-less!
It has been a goal of mine to stop using suds on my hair. I have tried a couple of methods that either were disasters, or stopped working for me after a couple of weeks. I have been using this rinse now for about six weeks and it's been great. I wish your reviews allowed for photo uploads.

Free shipping on all domestic orders over $100 offer applies only to orders placed at theherbaltoad.com and shipped through The Herbal Toad's shipping method of choice (most usually USPS) within the United States. Orders under $100 will be charged a flat shipping rate of $8.95. Faster shipping services will require an additional fee. Orders are shipped out within 24 hours, excluding weekends. The majority of orders are received within 3-5 business days, however; if you need your package quickly, we recommend choosing the priority shipping option. A tracking number will be provided for every package shipped. You may track your package by simply copying and pasting the tracking number to your browser address bar. The Herbal Toad cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control after being turned over to the shipping provider. It is solely up to you, the customer, to enter the correct shipping address. Once the package has left our facility, there is nothing that we can do to change the shipping address.
Delivery and Pickup
Orders are delivered once per day and offered to Ozark AL customers free of charge. If your order was placed after deliveries have been made, it will be delivered the next day. If you are in immediate neet of your orer, please call ahead to see if we have staff available to deliver.
For curbside pickup, please call us for instructions for your first pickup order. You will recieve an email when your order is ready for pickup. In most cases your order will be ready within an hour if your order is placed before 10 am. Orders placed after 10 am may be available quickly, depending on staff availability. In some cases, orders placed after 10 am may not be ready until the next business day. If you are in immediate need of your order, please call ahead to see if we are able to fulfill your request.
Returns
For reasons of quality control, we cannot take returns on any consumable product, other than the reasons listed below. Even if unopened, we would have no way of knowing beyond certainty if the product was altered, replaced, or opened then resealed and contaminated. Please be certain of your purchase before ordering. This policy is for the safety and confidence of our customers, as well as to prevent our small business from losses due to an impulse buy. Please note that just like any over the counter or prescription medication, with herbal teas, tinctures, oils, and supplements, not everything works for everybody, therefore, we most generally will only accept returns if there is a defect in the product or a mistake on our end. In the event of the shipment either not being correct or defective in some way, The Herbal Toad will happily accept the return within 15 days and promptly mail you a replacement, credit your account, or credit your method of payment.
