It has often been used for aches and pains, stress, colds, menstrual cramps, nausea, abdominal pain, heartburn, irritable bowel syndrome, gas, bloating, indigestion, burns, acne, skin allergies, diaper rash, eczema and psoriasis, skin infections, insomnia, headaches, flatulence, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, stress, sound sleep, canker sores, gingivitis. Chamomile flowers are a wonderful DIY herb as it works well in ointments, lotions, baths and steams. Chamomile is generally safe and often a good choices for young children.*
